Teaching of HIV/AIDS in MBBS and MD/MS courses across the country is not uniform in academic circles.

It is felt that the pre-service teaching and training has not been adequate enough to prepare medical personnel in imparting Prevention, Control, Care and Support, and Treatment related Services to HIV/AIDS infected individuals.
